Sponsor Displaced Communities (SDC) is KHOM Malaysia’s dedicated humanitarian initiative to support displaced Syrian families inside Syria and Palestinian refugees in Lebanon who continue to live in extreme hardship due to prolonged conflict and displacement.
For over a decade, families have endured harsh winters, food shortages, limited healthcare, and unsafe living conditions. Through SDC, you have the opportunity to sponsor entire communities, ensuring lifesaving aid reaches those who need it most — directly, transparently, and with impact.
What Is the SDC Project?
The Sponsor Displaced Communities (SDC) Project allows individuals, families, corporate partners, and groups to sponsor entire displaced communities, rather than isolated aid items.
Each sponsorship supports a minimum of 35 families (approximately 175 individuals) and can be tailored according to your budget and preferred aid type.

A combination of multiple items
Every sponsorship is implemented on the ground by KHOM Malaysia’s mission team.
Why Sponsor Displaced Communities?
Displaced communities inside Syria and refugee camps in Lebanon face daily survival challenges:
Families living in tents, damaged buildings, or informal settlements
No reliable access to electricity, clean water, or sanitation
Limited income and unstable informal work
Severe food insecurity and rising malnutrition
Lack of access to heating fuel during winter
Children exposed to cold, illness, and trauma
Since 2018, KHOM Malaysia has been delivering food aid, winter assistance, clean water, clothing, education support, and protection to displaced communities — restoring hope where it has been lost.
