IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGY
Immediate flood response was carried out with KHOM collaborating with the President of KVKM Captain Ariffin Abd Rani (Retired) who is also KHOM Advisor and with Jabatan Hal Ehwal Veteran Malaysia (JHEV Kelantan)
SITUATION REPORT
- The monsoon season of the East Coast hit areas that are usually not affected by floods causing villagers and residents of housing areas to make an emergency evacuation on the 18th and 19th of December 2022.
- Once evacuees were allowed to return home, they found their belongings ruined and some families faced total loss.
- KHOM deployed the team of volunteers to worst hit areas which could only be accessed by boats with the help of JHEV and KVKM
